Mitchell has been dancing for 18 years. He attended Newtown high school of the performing arts from 2009-2012. He then went on to study at Brent Street for his Certificate 4 in performing arts in 2011.
Mitchell has performed in many videos clips & shows like Justine Clark video clips in 2004, Brian McFadden "Just Say So" and "Chemical Rush" video clip. In the show So You Think You Can Dance in 2008 & 2009 Mitchell performed with Wes Carr and Kelly Rowland. He has also performed with Alexis Jordan singing "happiness" at the Sydney Mardi Gras 2011, Olivia Newton-John at the 2012 AACTV AWARDS, Sunrise's cash cow dancer, NRL grand final performing with Wolfmother in 2009. Mitchell featured as an extra in Baz Luhrmann’s film "The Great Gatsby" playing the role of Ralph Barton, he was a dancer on the film "Goddess" choreographed by Kelly abbey, performed in the Sydney hair show in 2011, Cody Simpson’s back-up dancer at the 2011 Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards and a dancer at Luna Park, Sydney. Mitchell danced with Dance Avenue as a cheerleader with the Razorbacks. Mitchell has also travelled overseas to California to represent Brent Street Agency at Disneyland adventure park and Knotts berry farm.
